Part of the company policy of Community and Tourism Services states "provide benefits to the indigenous communities we work with"  and with this in mind we have been working with local communities in 2004.

School groups from the following indigenous communities have visited the walkway as guests of CATS.

I would just like to thank CATS for facilitating school visits from the North Rupununi to the Canopy Walkway this year.  Archer and Dominic are wonderful hosts and guides, and take great care and time with the school visitors.  Before the visitors leave Iwokrama, they participate in a reflection and the kids and chaperones also express their amazement and thanks for the opportunity to visit the walkway!
